About SNOWDROP STORIES

My name is Lauren and I was 14 years old when I started this SNOWDROP STORIES blog to post inspiring stories written by young people that have overcome adversity. I chose the name SNOWDROP STORIES for this blog because the snowdrop flower symbolizes new beginnings, hope, rebirth and the ability to overcome challenges.

I experienced a serious health scare in January of 2022 when I was 13 years old and found that writing about my experience helped me heal and become stronger. I also found that reading stories about other young people overcoming adversity was inspiring. You can read my own SNOWDROP STORY in the first post of the blog.

I am hoping to fill this blog with inspiring SNOWDROP STORIES from other young people about experiencing and overcoming any kind of adversity. If you would like to share your SNOWDROP STORY on my blog, please submit it.

Thank you for your help in spreading hope and inspiration to young people in adverse situations.

Meet our Team

Lauren is in charge of running the website, email, and other operations. She also runs communications.

Our newest member of the team is Abby! She helps to run our social media and Instagram. She also decorates our page with art (as seen below) and promotional artworks.

Thank you for your help in spreading hope and inspiration to young people in adverse situations.

We are currently looking for more artists to decorate our page with drawings of Snowdrop flowers. This is a great way to easily get involved with little time commitment
